When veterans return from duty, the transition back to normal life is challenging. My guest today is Sherry Ems, Director of Military and Veteran Services for Easterseals Redwood. Their sole mission is to help returning veterans to find jobs, housing, and medical care to ease the transisition to civilian life here in SW Ohio, Northern KY and SE Indiana. The honor ride to raise money and awareness of these issues is Aug 19, 2023. Then, The Buddy Walk raises money to help money to help those living with Down Syndrome with the services, therapy and support they need to life to the fullest.
