Episode Synopsis
Cindy Killion is a journalism professor at Winona State University in Winona, Minn. Although she is primarily a professor, she has been a fundamental force in fighting for LGBTQ rights, particularly in La Crosse, Wis., for the past 25 years. She was also one of the movers and shakers behind the annual Dakota Gathering and other issues that affect indigenous people in SouthEastern Minnesota.
