Episode Synopsis
I declare that I am unintimidated by the present pursuits and passions of the world.
That the world will not succeed in bullying me to bow to perversion and to uphold corruption.
Regardless of how hot Nebuchadenezzar heats the fire
In hopes of my conversion to his demonic ideologies
And to the acceptance of his brand of darkness,
I will not bow down.
I bow only to the God whose kingdom has no end,
Whose throne is founded in righteousness and justice,
Who draws boundaries to guarantee my freedom,
And the one who defines my existence.
The one who is responsible for fuelling my consecration
This is the truth of God that I build my life upon.
It's not a seasonal subscription for a single season in my life
But it's an eternal subscription that is for today and the age to come.
Daniel 3:16-20
16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[c] from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.
I declare that I am a part of the "even if breed" the Lord brings upon the earth,
That even if our prayers are not answered the way we desire them to be answered ,
We will not bow down.
That even if the world calls good evil and evil good ,
We will not bow down.
That even if our reputation is on the line
We will not bow down.
I choose to daily sow to the spirit,
That I may reap eternal life.
And till the very end may i be found standing for, with and in Christ alone.
