I declare that I am seen and known by God,
That unlike certain relationships I may have experienced in the past, I never have to second guess or wonder where I stand with God. Wonder whether He loves me or not.
"He loves me, He loves me not. He loves me, He loves me not".
He LOVES me now.
Today, He loves me. He loved me yesterday and He will love me tomorrow.
He loved me before the foundations of the earth and He would love me for all of eternity.
He loved me on the days I don’t even realize I need His loving and God loves me on the days when I want to cower staggering from the stench of shame.
Loving me is not something He does from time to time, at random moments when He’s in a good mood.
Love is who He is ,all day and every day.
Lord thank you for taking such a chance, and a risk with me and mankind.
What a risk it must have been Lord making yourself so vulnerable, coming into the world that you created.
Your heart on fire & brimming with love, steeped in humility.
Holding in both hands truth and grace.
Spilling the content of your heart to a people that did not guarantee they would accept you.
Essentially proposing marriage to your bride with a package too good to resist.
The assurance of an eternity of security and love.
Teach me Lord to daily open this inexhaustible gift of salvation and all it means.
With gratitude, with reverence and with surrender
So help me Spirit of the Living God.
