Listen "I Hear You, I See You: Gigi Edwards Bryant"
Episode Synopsis
“For children that have gone through tough times, when they look up, they’re just looking for somebody to look back at them with no judgement. To say: “I hear you. I see you.” - Gigi Edwards Bryant_________________There are few people who inspire me the way Gigi Edwards Bryant does. Having entered the foster care system at age 6, and staying there until age 18, she has one of the most powerful stories I’ve ever heard. And y’all...seriously, I’m telling you, you. Will. LOVE. Her. In this episode, Gigi talks to me about: - What it was like as a child, being raised in the foster care system. - How she put herself through college, earned multiple degrees, launched a business, and raised a beautiful family. - How she created a foundation for foster children, providing for them - among other things - pens and paper for journaling, and dresses for prom. - How we can all honor Black families and ensure their children are given the exact same opportunities as every other child, for a vibrant, wonderful future. We hope you enjoy this episode of I Am Enough!
