Financial Markets expert Ravi Abeysuriya and Capital Markets expert Deshan Pushparajah joined 'At HydePark' on Ada Derana 24 to talk about Sri Lanka's Domestic Debt Optimisation strategy and the way forward for a speedy economic growth.

Speaking to Indeewari Amuwatte, Ravi Abeysuriya said Domestic Debt Optimisation is essential for Sri Lanka, adding that restructuring foreign loans alone will not help achieve Sri Lanka's debt sustainability targets.

Deshan Pushparajah meanwhile said foreign investors welcome government's move to exclude banks from the Domestic Debt strategy adding that banks are essential during this period to lend more in-order to create a boost in the economic revival.
