Finance Minister Ali Sabry says that restructuring of Sri Lanka's debt should have been done at least two years ago, but by the time the government realised that home grown solutions were not plausible, it may have a been a bit too late. Speaking to Indeewari Amuwatte At HydePark on Ada Derana 24, the Finance Minister expressed confidence that Sri Lanka can pull through with hard reforms and a little international help, and added that the task doesn't only stop with the IMF, but with the effort of the general public as well.
