President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, President's Counsel Saliya Pieris, says that no confidence motions and impeachment proceedings may not deliver the outcome that is expected by the demonstrating public, as constitutional grey areas may hamper such efforts.   
Speaking to Indeewari Amuwatte at HydePark on Ada Derana 24 today, the BASL President also warned that continued ignorance of the public's deep crisis of a lack of confidence in the country's institutions and leadership by parliament, needs to be changed soon before it leads to further instability.
