Listen "Hutchins Podcast - MS/SS Swimming Carnival 2019"
Episode Synopsis
The Middle and Senior School House Swimming Carnival was held on Wednesday 14 August at the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre. House carnivals provide a wonderful opportunity for Middle and Senior School students to come together and participate in a team environment. This year's carnival provided much excitement with the introduction of extra 25m races that ran in the dive pool throughout the day as well as a number of new novelty events involving stand up paddleboards and inflatable packrafts.
Congratulations to everyone who competed throughout the day and a huge thank you to all staff who assisted in the smooth running of the carnival, in particular to Mr Jason Berry and Mr Sam FitzGerald for their meticulous organisation and planning. Congratulations to School House who took home the Swimming Cup.
