Listen "Autism - A conversation with Deb"

Episode Synopsis

I have been curious about a range of diagnosed conditions from a young age. My questions have ranged from the actual diagnosis, its challenges & positives, and how it actually plays out in life. I had an amazing opportunity to have this conversation with Deb Cook about her Chapter, Autism. Our discussion delved into Deb's diagnosis, what the diagnosis has meant for her, her experiences of social connection, what life was like at school (primary & secondary), different elements that she needs to consider (and ones I may take for granted), the impact of Covid, and so on. This conversation provided a wonderful platform to reflect on and learn from someone else with a different experience. Thanks a million, Deb.
Deb was recently featured in the 7:30 Report (https://www.facebook.com/ABC730/videos/651557228844243) and she has written a detailed article (of her experiences), which has been published by Mamamia (https://www.mamamia.com.au/all-autistic-family/?utm_source=Rivuu&utm_medium=Facebook&utm_campaign=oc&fbclid=IwAR0fgrCst7v98X2czm9Exp9eQoLaFjesE48ZVPeOatziHlAXWzUjmjIwaws).
Enjoy listening to this conversation and thanks in advance. 😊
