Vanessa Steil's remarkable story of courage and survival is inspiring. At 26-years-old, Vanessa was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. After the diagnosis, she started her blog: livinginsteil.com where she shared her story and offered a hand of support to others going through the battle with cancer.   
She has since become a board certified patient advocate and uses her blog and resources to help patients understand their options when it comes to their healthcare.   Vanessa has also been the sole caregiver for her 93-year old grandmother for the past 10+ years and brings a unique perspective on the long term care needs of our senior population here in America.
