Having a successful career whilst raising children can sometimes feel like an impossible challenge – but Dolly Jones wants to change that narrative.

Dolly’s a former editor at Vogue, a digital consultant and author of “Leaving the Ladder Down”, a book which encourages us to think differently about working parents – for ourselves, our families and in the workplace.

In this episode of How Do We Manage, Dolly explains why we should appreciate every type of mother and the roles they play – both those at home and at work. She advocates for a culture of speaking openly and honestly about family to employers and colleagues, putting aside mother guilt, accepting the joy of having both a job and a family – and celebrating the everyday wins.
