During Women’s Fellowship we shared the challenges of aging. We may have all had different journeys in life, grew up in different places and times, different ethnicities, and ages ranging from our 60’s to late 80’s, but we had long ago discovered we have more in common than not. Each one also testified during her lifetime she had learned to find rest in God’s promises. That’s something we all have in common. Whether it’s God’s promise to cover and protect us, heal us, or give us rest from our weariness, we can depend on God and find rest in His promises. We’re so blessed God cares about every detail of our life and provides a place and way for us to have needed relief and rest. His promises give us peace of mind and strength of soul.
