Part 3 concludes our series from Ruth chapter 3 on Developing a deeper relationship with God. The picture of Ruth and Boaz is a picture of Christ and the Believer.Ruth had begun a relationship with Boaz in chapter 2, but she was not content with just a surface relationship. She wanted a deeper relationship and actually makes a marriage proposal to Boaz. In doing so we see the lessons in her interaction with Boaz of how we are to to approach our redeemer.She prepared herself, she submitted to him, and she listened to him.Likewise we are to prepare ourselves for dealing with God, we are to submit ourselves to His will and way, and embrace what He says to us. In this concluding message we see in Ruth that we are to willingly receive the gifts that are granted us, and wait patiently while he completes the work of His promises to us.
