Listen "Utah Lyric Opera: La Traviata"
Episode Synopsis
Operabase, the online database of all things opera, named Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata!” as the most performed opera worldwide. Immensely popular since its premiere in 1853, “La Traviata!” is quintessentially opera with romance found, romance complicated, romance lost, romance re-found, and then tragic death! To bring the gloriously ill-fated love story of La Traviata to life tonight are four musicians from the Utah Lyric Opera.
