In 1968, six recently-graduated choral scholars from King's College at Cambridge made their London debut. The King's Singers are now in their 50th year and have featured 24 different singers as members over the years. Their repertoire is unusual for a group made up of such impecable musical craftsmen: a mix of populaar music as well as startlingly lovely arrangements of well-known classics and newly-commissioned material. They're Grammy winners, Emmy winners, and hold a place in the Gramophone Hall of Fame. 2018 marks 50 years of wonderful music recorded and performed by the King's Singers, and today we have two of them with us: baritone Christopher Gabbitas and tenor Julian Gregory. Today they share selections from a new 50th year collection of recordings called "Gold", and their thoughts and persperctives on the long and successful career of the group.
