Episode Synopsis
Today is piano day, and we're running the gamut of pieces from France to England to the US and back to France. Taking us on this musical journey are three pianists from the University of Utah, each of which is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Piano Performance. They probably spend as much time every day practicing as most of their fellow students spend on homework, Facebook, and Netflix combined!
Kate Poulton, Sasha Bainson, and Candace Winterton share with us the music of Claude Debussy, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and Maurice Ravel. They also chat with host Steven Kapp Perry about their lives and musical backgrounds and their passion for the piano.
