In studio we have a two-man tornado of tunes and tales! Four-time Grammy Award winning musician David Holt is here along with internationally renowned fiddler Josh Goforth. Both are in town to perform and share stories during the 25th anniversary celebration of Utah’s Timpanogos Storytelling Festival: the largest storytelling festival in the West.
You’ll hear just about every creative, old-time porch playing instrument you can imagine today—including the stump fiddle and paper bag. And between songs our guest host, Sam Payne (of BYU Radio’s storytelling show “The Apple Seed”), will chat with David and Josh about everything from Nannie’s Old-Time Texas Pecan Pie to concertizing in Japan.
