Episode Synopsis
Andrey Gugnin is a performer at the inaugural Paul Pollei Commemorative Concert Series in Salt Lake and in 2014 he participated in the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition and swept the contest winning both the 1st place gold prize and the Audience's Choice Award. A graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, he frequently criss-crosses the globe performing in all the major countries of Europe, as well as locales like Morocco and Bermuda.
Andrey has performed with orchestras all over the world including the Svetlanov State Orchestra, the Moscow State Orchestra, the Macedonian Philharmonic, the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, and the Utah Symphony Orchestra.
