Listen "All things Cannabis with Paul from Give & Toke Podcast | EP 24"
Episode Synopsis
This week on Higher Living, come on a ride with us that starts in Canada, travels through Thailand and the 38 states in the USA to take us to the current circumstances in Australia.
Along for the episode is Paul, the host of the Give and Toke: Cannabis Conversations podcast.
If you want to know a bit more Paul, for much of his life, he felt the stigma while reaping the personal benefits of cannabis including reduced social anxiety, improved sleep and pain management.
Towards the end of 2018, only months after Canada federally legalised cannabis Paul moved to Vancouver where he experienced the intersection of outgoing municipal legalisation and incoming federal legalisation, as he trained to be a cannabis sommelier, working as a Budtender and then Marketing Coordinator for British Columbian cannabis retailer, Muse. It was his time living and working in Canada's regulated market that allowed his passions to grow as he witnessed the exciting potential for adult use cannabis as well as the overwhelming flaws that come with heavy government regulation.
Enthusiastically advocating for changes in Australia's and his home state of Victoria's archaic drug laws, With guests including federal senators like David Shoebridge, state members of parliament like Rachel Payne from Legalise Cannabis Victoria, doctors, pharmacists, lawyers and cannabis consumers from across the world, this is a podcast that elevates the conversation about cannabis to a higher level.
