My very first guest on this podcast is my Dad! I love this conversation with him, it’s been years in the making. The topic of this is Dad’s secrets to thriving at 87!
People always ask me often what his secret is, what routines and thoughts he keeps, and that’s exactly what we chat about.
He loves people. He golfs 3-4 times a week. He attends monthly board meetings. He participates in city wide social events. He has a deep value for respect and gratitude.
He remembers being treated so well in those early days coming from India. He was given so much in those early days, he talks about always wanting to give back to this community he now continues to live in.
He believes the love he feels for people has reflected back to him.
And the love he has for himself comes back to him from others.
His mirror affirmations are the part that inspire me so much.
