This week, I'm talking about the power of rest. Recently, I had the incredible privilege of participating in the annual tradition of a girls' weekend away at the beach and the rest I was able to get from that retreat gave me the resilience to handle all the things I needed to come home and take care of back in real life. If you won't take my word for it, we're also looking at the Bible for examples where we are called to rest... and not because we've "earned it," but because we need it.
