In this episode, we continue the theme of "Putting on the New Man." It is something that we must choose to do over and over--each and every day. Studying for this episode reminded me of this quote from the Bible study: “We are no longer bound to it {sin}. We now have the power to choose. We can choose to walk as the old man and continue in sin. Or we can choose to walk as the new man led by the Holy Spirit.” Pullin' Weeds, Plantin' Seeds (pg. 73)The choice sounds simple enough, but it isn't easy. We will battle with our own flesh as Paul describes in Romans 7. And it might feel a little restrictive and uncomfortable at times, but it is for our good.
