You can't have transparent, upfront conversations about these things because it makes the men feel more defensive and makes them feel, quote unquote, attacked. And so then what's required is for us women to continue doing what it is we're trying to raise awareness of is that invisible labor, the caretaking and, you know, making the adding the sugar so the medicine goes down in order for it to be understood."
