Why do we get so complacent, so familiar with our surroundings that leads to our stagnant reaction to all life issues? Daniel 9 has powerful lessons to teach us about not ever getting so assimilated to our surroundings that we grow complacent in our seeking, hoping, and trusting in the Living God. In this new year, may we all be resolved to seek Christ Jesus with the tenacity of a hungry lion. Let us be reminded this is not our home, so we do not grow comfortable in this place.
