Episode Synopsis
After inheriting a 3-8 2008 Hawkeye football team, Kirk Ferentz started his head coaching career at Iowa with a record of 1-10. The 2000 season saw an improvement to 3-9 with a couple of big wins. The rebuild was almost there in 2001 with a bowl win, and the next three years were top ten finishes. Let’s go back and remember some of the great Hawkeye wins and players in Captain Kirk’s first six years as the head coach at Iowa.
