While it wasn't the opening game performance from the offense that we hoped for, it was the opening game performance that we got, which still resulted in a 34-7 week 1 win for your Iowa Hawkeyes! The Hawkeye 4DT guys come to you this week trying not to overreact to a, well, bad QB performance in week 1 that conjured up some of the ghosts of recent lackluster QB performances for your beloved Hawkeyes. Notwithstanding Iowa's inability to get anything going in the passing game, there were certainly some bright spots to discuss - including 300+ yards on the ground and a defense that was pretty stingy after the Great Danes were able to (briefly) take the lead on Saturday.
