I don’t know about you, but I think a lot of us forget that Jesus Christ was a pretty modern man during His time on earth. Whether we like it or not, He wasn’t your typical religious man we expected Him to be, to say the least. His closest friends were uneducated and rough fishermen. He ate and drank with publicans and sinners, and finally He broke the Sabbath laws and protected a woman that was caught in the act of adultery. If you and I would think about it real hard, some of us would probably keep our children from being friends with such a man. We’d wonder if he was sound in his mind at all. Yet indeed He was, and He did all that and more, and we can’t help but love Him because of it.Thanks so much for listening to this podcast.
