Focus.
That is the word God gave me for the year when I was
invited by a friend to think of one. It popped into my mind and went with what I had already heard: “More of the Word; Less of the World.”  I knew what God was telling me: “Let’s
not get bogged down in the Headlines or the trends and tragedies of the day. Let’s focus on the eternal word and ways of God.”
Yes, we glance at the problem to become His hands and feet here on earth. But as we gaze on Jesus and the beauty of the Gospel, we can combine the two and change the world one
person at a time. Who wants to join in?
