Listen "The Benefits of Awe, Resilience and PTG - Part Two"
Episode Synopsis
In the middle of a worldwide crisis, talking about awe, resilience, and PTG is more important than ever due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We need to combat the fear trying to take over our hearts and minds, whether it's covid crisis, racial injustices, political unrest, wars, and the effects of these wars.
What we have is a spiritual battle—a battle over our faith. One of the main tactics our enemy uses against us is to implant fear in our hearts that can affect our faith. Despite this, humans, in general, are a resilient bunch. I've heard first-hand stories from war heroes from WWII, Vietnam, and other wars that are proof. We have accounts in the Bible of resilient folks.
In short, God wired us to overcome.
We need to be carriers of hope and resilience in this challenging time we are all going through, so let's continue to explore how we can exercise our resilience muscles, including awe, that leads us to PTG.
