We’re back on the albums again! It took me years to understand that this, too, was a gift. -by Mary Oliver ____________________________________________________ To honor the top 100 albums (and my favorite poet) the poems for the rest of this series will all come from Mary Oliver :) - ONLY 80 ALBUMS TO GO!!! My word. (It occurred to me recently that I’m really going to miss this project once we’re through.) Onward and upward we continue. - Oh it’s a major endeavor, alright. I’m going to try to listen to at least 10 albums a week for the rest of the year! Yeah, I’m not joking. Media, art, and entertainment publication Paste Magazine came out with a list of the 300 best albums and we’re going to go through them all! Well, I’m going to. And then we’re going to talk about it! Great tracks, themes, history, info, related artists, cultural context, personal experiences- they’re all going to play a part in these reviews. Totally stoked because I love music. (And a little intimidated!
