In episode 215 of“Have Guitar Will Travel”, presented by Vintage Guitar Magazine, host James Patrick Regan speaks with singer/songwriter/bandleader Kolton Moore as he drives through Texas. In their conversation Kolton tells us about his tour schedule throughout the country and the cost of traveling in a bus with a full band and when they have an opportunity to get off the bus.
Kolton describes taking time away from music from 2014 to 2018 to start an international hunting outfit.
Kolton discusses his musical upbringing and his different guitars Collins, Fender, Martin and Gibson and a 1962 Harmony that’s his beater guitar and he talks a bit about Baxendale Conversions out of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Kolton tells us about his band which he started in 2011 what led him to hang up the band in 2014 and what brought him back in 2018 and he talks about his new album “A Place That I Call Home”.
Finally Kolton talks about his pedal chain both acoustic and electric and his amps.
