I used a piece of technology that's new to me which is a telephone call recorder, so the quality's a little lower than usual (a few hiccups especially in the second half) and it ends abruptly, but the trade off is that I can broaden the scope of the podcast to outside just the area where I live. We had a really fun, free ranging conversation about a variety of topics, but the theme that emerged, in my estimation, is one of the disconnect between public education and productive society, the effects of that which are coming to fruition, and the rub therein.
