What happens when we stop trusting God – and start making our own plans?

But this isn’t just ancient history. It’s our story too.

When life feels dry, delayed, or desperate, how often do we turn to other sources of hope, mixing things into our faith that were never meant to be there? From the sins of Jeroboam to the warnings in Colossians, Scripture consistently challenges us to root out compromise and live fully devoted, undivided lives.
