For the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Psalm 23It 's easy to fixate on the fact that Jesus is our Shepherd, that guides us in life, leads us in the places we need to be led. But there's another side to his shepherding, which is when we journey off on our own, when we get lost, when we try to find greener pastures. He will not just let us go, without a fight. He 's going to fight for you because he's committed to you. If someone causes you to go down the wrong path, if someone provokes you to go down that path that he's not leading, that God is not wanting you to go down to how many know God is passionate about that as well. What this means is you have to now deal and contend with a jealous God. Romans 8:38, 39 tells us how jealous. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor death, nor any other created thing shall be able to. What separate us from the love of God, who is in Christ Jesus our Lord?Support the show
