In the world in which we live, so often what we celebrate is attached to the perception of its future monetary value.  We encourage our children to pursue academic efforts that lead to careers that are deemed as providing the optimal level of success as measured by income earned.  Is this the right approach?  Let's start a discussion on the role that Art plays in the development of the person … and our communities.
