Listen "E44: LJai Robinson of Profyle: I LEFT the Music Industry to SAVE My Life"

Episode Synopsis

One of the most powerful interviews I ever had to do on Halftime Chat, I talk with L Jai Robinson, former lead singer of the RnB group, Profyle. We cover a range of topics from dishonest Managers, the control of record labels, the price of fame, dealing with Mental Illness as a recording artist, and finding peace away from the spotlight. Profyle is an American R&B group, best known for their hit, "Liar". They were signed to Motown Records with which they released two albums and then went on to release another album independently.
The group released a self-titled album in 2004 on Major Money. Profyle disbanded in 2004 after this album failed to chart. The lead singer went on to work with artists such as Gerald Levert, Shawn Kane, Gerald "CleanUp Man" Isaac, Scott Storch and Ne-Yo.

Hosted by Music Broadcaster, Psychotherapist and Life Coach, Nnamdi E.S. Okoye (PGDip (CBT), PG Cert (Low Intensity Psychological Interventions)
