Episode Synopsis

Isolated but never alone
Are you feeling alone or lonely today? There is a difference between being alone and loneliness. Alone means you are by yourself in a physical sense. At some point in our lives, everyone will feel alone or experience loneliness. Many times we need God’s assurance, as our Good Father, that He is there, and that we are not alone. Dwell on Bible verses when you feel alone and allow God to reinforce this truth: we are never alone. God is always with us.
Loneliness is a state of mind, an emotion brought on by feelings of separation from other people.  Loneliness can be experienced when we're alone or when we are completely surrounded by people. You can be surrounded by people 24/7 and still feel lonely. The sense of isolation can overtake us if we’re not careful.. The Hebrew word translated “desolate” or “lonely” in the Old Testament means “one alone; one who is solitary, or forsaken.” There is no deeper sadness that ever comes over the mind than the idea that we are alone in the world, that we do not have a friend, that no one cares for us.
I think one of the enemy’s best lies is to convince us that no one cares. Believe it or not, he tells the same lie to anyone who will listen! At one time or another, everyone has felt loneliness. But here’s the truth: No matter how you feel, you’re not alone.
