Listen "Fret Not"
Episode Synopsis
Today we are looking at Psalm 37. David wrote this late in his life and may have been thinking about passing on wisdom to Solomon to lead the people. After having many trials and triumphs, sufferings and setbacks in his life, David encouraged Solomon and the people to believe God’s promises and wait for God. This Psalm looks at the age-old question that we all may face at one time or another: Why does the righteous suffer and the wicked seem to prosper?
Spurgeon called it "The great riddle of the prosperity of the wicked and the affliction of the righteous".
Have you ever felt that way? It seems like people who have no regard for God are seemingly free from the problems of life. Have you ever thought that? Is this true? Find out in today's message.
