Listen "THE REAL REASONS FOR THE MEDICAL STAFFING, HOSPITAL AND ICU SHORTAGES "

Episode Synopsis

In 1997 the Clinton administration started a program paying hospitals and medical training facilities to slow the pace of graduating doctors, nurses, and physician assistants.  The GW Bush administration continued that program, as did the Obama administration. In 2019, just shy of the Coronavirus 19 (aka COVID 19) pandemic, the Trump administration ended the program. Because of this, along with of hidden laws inside the Affordable Healthcare Act (AHA), aka Obamacare, we now find ourselves in an overwhelming shortage of hospital staff and ICU rooms. In this podcast we explore how this has all happened and how mandates being placed on the medical community by state and federal governments are accentuating the problem.
