Episode Synopsis

We have given our personal power away to authority figures, doctors and the government. In order to thrive, we must take responsibility for our daily choices and actions.  It's time to reclaim our health and return to the origin of medicine--- the roots of ancient wellness--- holistic health.
In this episode, I talk about the interconnectedness of mind-body-spirit wellness.  I list a few examples of popular holistic modalities such as hypnotherapy and chiropractic.  Also, I mention five key areas of life to be aware of to boost and manage well-being:  environment, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and digestive function.  
Hippocrates, known as the father of modern medicine, was a proponent of self-healing and believed the body could heal itself of most illnesses if properly encouraged.
Our bodies are constantly balancing and healing without our conscious awareness.
