While in the Old Testament the Spirit came upon specific individuals for specific purposes, after Christ's resurrection, this divine presence became available to all believers. As Jesus told His disciples, "It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you."The Spirit's work in our lives is multifaceted and transformative.
