When God gives us instructions to do something, He expects us to have instant obedience and not delayed obedience. Delayed obedience is disobedience; God is all about timing; when He gives us instructions, He wants us to follow them instantly. Our delayed obedience delays God’s plans, our provisions, and our blessings, along with other people who were part of God’s plans. Because of Esther’s prompt obedience, the lives of her people were saved and people of other belief backgrounds became Jews and worshiped God, and brought glory to God. Your instant obedience shows God your faith.
