Listen "Some Thoughts On Reconfiguring Memory"
Episode Synopsis
Memories can be powerful things. They help us stay connected to deeply impactful parts of our stories and who we are. God designed our physical brains to be able to store and pull up important images, feelings, sensory experiences, and sounds that help us tap into things, people, and places worth remembering and learning from. But what about the memories that you'd rather forget? What about the things that are hard to forgive? What about the memories that kinda feel stuck inside your mind and you've yet to make peace with them or find a place for them in your life's landscape? Today's episode goes personal and draws from some thoughts I've had recently on reconfiguring memory - of how to reframe painful situations and choose how you want to travel with that memory going forward, however difficult it was. This is an important truth to sit with, so take a few minutes and listen in!
