February 4 th is observed annually as World Cancer Day. For this year’s observation, the St. Lucia Cancer

Society hosted the ‘Relay for Life’ event, which is put on annually by the American Cancer Society. The

event brings together volunteers from far and wide to celebrate cancer survivors, while raising funds to

assist persons living with cancer and their families.
