Listen "S1E30 – Christians and Non-Violence"
Episode Synopsis
Today I was joined by two men from Sattler College in Boston, Dean Taylor (President) and Zach Johnson (Dean of Students). I invited them onto the show to discuss the topic of Christian non-violence. While they advocated for that position, my friend and fellow military officer, Gordon Beecroft, joined me to defend a Christian view of justified violence (e.g. capital punishment, self-defense, and just war). Our discussion covered multiple areas, such as the application of God's law, the role of Christians as ambassadors for Christ, and the nature of God's Kingdom. While we could not cover every significant area, this discussion serves as a starting point that we hope will be useful for all Christians who wish to dive deeper into understanding their role in this world.
