It's time for another between-series breather! The Runners take a break by relaxing in scenic Nova Scotia with the first volume of Hobtown Mystery Stories, The Case of the Missing Men. The members of the Hobtown Junior Detective Club are accustomed to solving petty crimes and minor mysteries, but when people start going missing and the town is struck by a rash of sudden deaths, it falls to the intrepid teens to uncover the truth behind the horror that haunts Hobtown! Topics of discussion include the close relationship between humour and horror, the risks of being dubbed "Lynchian", and how to differentiate between the Goo Goo Dolls, the Pussycat Dolls, and Pussy Riot.
