Like Elijah, we are to tell the world that there is hope. But they must receive that hope and be obedient to Christ's calling.In Elijah's 40 days in the desert, he wasn’t meandering. He had a purpose, a place to reach: Mount Horeb, where Moses got the Ten Commandments. Elijah had to rediscover the Word of God and the God of the Word before he could effectively share them both with others.
