Smetty’s Steelers came through with a dub thanks to their stud like defense. The offense…that’s another story. The Panthers just can’t get it together, even with Bryce Young at the helm. Golic wasn’t too impressed with the Saints offense, but he was happy that all points on the board came from fellow former Fighting Irish. Last night raises the question though, is any football good football? The duo is joined by Dan Wetzel, Yahoo Sports columnist, and co-host of College Football Enquirer Podcast, to discuss the impressive effects of Deion Sanders leading Colorado. The Colorado State vs Colorado was the most watched college football game of the week, bringing in 9.3 million viewers. Dan compares what Coach Prime has done to the old glory days of Notre Dame and calls it a bigger hype than the USC days of Pete Carroll and Reggie Bush. They go on to discuss changes in college football recruitment, NIL portal battles, and the future of Marcus Freeman. Mike and Jess dive further into the upcoming Ohio St vs Notre Dame game and discuss the exciting win in F1 (and for once it wasn’t Max Verstappen).
