Lisa is the New York Times bestselling author of "The Spiritual Child" and author of the new book “The Awakened Brain” where she explores the science of spirituality. She is also professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at Teachers College, Columbia University as well as Founder and Director of the Spirituality Mind Body Institute - the first Ivy League graduate program and research institute in spirituality and psychology. Lisa's work and research has been published in more than one hundred peer-reviewed articles in leading journal. I'm beyond honored to have gotten the opportunity to sit down with Lisa and not only talk about the science of spirituality and her extensive research on the topic, but moreover to meet the person, the human, the mother behind.
